Cross Stitch Needles
With round tip for smooth insertion and glides through fabric. Large needle hole for easy threading. Wrapped in Chiyogami paper, with pink hyotan design, representing the abundance of fruitfulness, auspicious for good luck and good fortune to ward off misfortune.

Embroidery Needles
With sharp tip to pierce easily even high-density fabrics. Excellent for most embroidery stitches. Wrapped in Chiyogami paper, with blue Onagadori & Botan design depicting long-tailed roosters and peonies, symbols of wealth, nobility and prosperity.

Stainless steel needles are supple yet durable, manufactured in Hiroshima, a city with a 300-year history of high-quality needle production.

They come wrapped in Chiyogami paper, traditionally used for gift wrapping and crafting paper objects and made by Haibara, a long-established Japanese paper company. Founded in 1806, Haibara has been running a Japanese paper store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo since the Edo period.
